Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open

So many celebs love playing golf and Justin Timberlake is almost as passionate about golf as he is about his music. He plays as often as he can and actually has an excellent game. For the first time he is the sponsor for this PGA Tour event.
The TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas hosts the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. The purse this week is 4.2 million and the winner will take home a cool $756,000. The course is 7223 yards and par is 71.
Marc Turnsea is the defending champion after posting an awesome 263, 1 stroke ahead of Matt Kuchar.
Badds will tee off from the 10th tee at 12:27pm with Johnson Wagner and D.J Trahan.
I caught up with Aaron to see how he was going…
Hi Aaron - 2006 was the last time you have played the Las Vegas tournament. Are you excited? Hi Shelley - Yeah '06 was the last time I was up here for the tourney. This is the first time that Justin Timberlake has been the sponsor. It’ll be a great week, I like the course, TPC Summerlin, and feel I play well around here.
How are you feeling with your game after a solid week at Turning Stone? Did you feel like some of the things you have been practicing started to really come together? Absolutely, I feel like for a while I have been making some nice progress in practice but was unable to make it happen on the course, so to see a lot of good shots at Turning Stone was nice. If I putted well there I would have been right there come Sunday so it was very encouraging. I really feel that that will flow into this week and the next. Exciting!!
Can you tell us a little bit about your plans for Australia, what you will be playing and doing on your trip? Are there any major differences for you between tournaments in Oz compared to the tour in the US? We are heading back to Aussie for the Oz masters and Oz open. I’m very excited to get back and play in Australia. I love playing down there. I would say the biggest difference between Aussie courses and US courses would be that Australian courses are generally firmer and faster, the ball rolls a lot more and the greens are firm and fast.
This will be Jewell's first trip to Australia. Are you excited to show her your second home and have her meet all of your family and friends? I am very excited to show Jewell around Australia and meet my family and my mates. It’ll be a fun trip. I'm looking forward to introducing Jewell to some traditional Aussie food, like the meat pie and sausage rolls.
Jewell is getting close to turning 1 year old. She must be growing up so fast. What sorts of exciting changes are you seeing? Is she crawling around now?
She is crawling everywhere, you put her down and she is gone. She is changing so much so quick it’s hard to keep up with her. We can really see her personality coming out!! She is such a great baby, I love her to pieces!!
Thanks Aaron, good luck this week.
Thanks Shelley
